You see it every day on the beaches of Costa Rica. Tons of dogs running up and down the beach, some of them pets and some of them strays.
One thing they all have in common is that they are literally shitting on paradise.
According to some estimates 20% of the fecal matter waste in our water is caused by pets and dogs
And, the waste not only pollutes the water but creates a health hazard for those walking on the beach. The waste left behind from dogs is also a breeding ground for insects.
So, if you’re going to bring your furry friend to the beach, make sure to pick up the poop!
