If you thought Costa Rica was a country only focused on football (soccer) you couldn’t be farther from the truth.
Costa Rica is home to a Rawlings factory that produces all the baseballs for the Major League.
The factory is located in Turrialba, Costa Rica. This factory produces around 2.4 million baseballs a year. There are over 300 qualified stitchers who work on making the baseballs.
During a Major League baseball game over 100 balls are used.
