****Liberia Airport is OPEN

After a brief closure last night, Liberia Airport (LIR) is open and operating for all incoming and outgoing flights. All arrivals and departures are on time and scheduled: For up to date flight information on Liberia flights check this link. Las night, several flights were cancelled from Houston and Los Angeles due to Hurricane Otto. Damage to Tamarindo was minimal. Just a few downed trees you can see from the photos below.
