It would be an understatement to say the least that we are living in strange times and despite wherever you are right now, we’ve all had to adjust one way or another to the events of the last few months. But hey, this too shall pass! If you are planning to come or you already are in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. Here are some things we think you should get out there and live a little.

Surfing
Hobby, passion, beginner or advanced or just a way to relax, Tamarindo is the perfect place to go out for a surf. Although the beaches were closed for minute, they are open again and ready for you! Restrictions are in place, but for everyone who enjoys starting the day with some exercise nothing will stand in your way. Tamarindo beach, from the estuary to Capitan Suizo is open between the hours of 5am to 9:30am, better be on the Dawn patrol squad! and for others looking for a bigger thrill or wave, Playa Grande to the north or Playa Langosta To the South we’ll meet your expectations, open
from 8am to 6pm. If you are new to surfing we highly recommend booking a lesson with S.A.L.T – Surf as Life Therapy. You can contact them via their Facebook page or email below.

Covid Cases in Guanacaste
Costa rica and Guanacaste in particular has been an example for good self isolation and low risk safe zones around the world. With less than 10,000 cases only 234 in Guanacaste, 101 of them recovered and no deaths the westernmost province has shown to be an objectively safe place to live and visit. All of this speaks to the determination, and care everyone has been taking towards themselves and everyone else for a healthier future. Keep up to date on the latest via the sites below. All numbers accurate at the time of writing.
