Most tourists come down to Tamarindo to enjoy the great surfing, fishing, and snorkeling our coast has to offer, but recently more and more tourists and locals alike have discovered the great mountain biking trails out at Las Catalinas.
On my first trip out to Catalinas I asked one of the project managers why there was such an extensive network of mountain bike trails. It turns out the developer, Charles Brewer, is an avid mountain biker.
Don’t worry if you don’t have a mountain bike. There’s a shop called Pura Vida Ride that will rent you a bike.
