If you are in search for sights and thrills on your vacation, Tamarindo has just what you’re looking for with TamaDive. This relatively new diving company offers a whole day of fun at sea with a great crew and lots of aquatic life.

Are you a first-time diver? No problem! TamaDive offers a “discovery dive” for beginners. This introduction will quickly teach you the hand signals needed to communicate underwater, what equipment is used and why, and safety precautions to ensure an enjoyable, stress-free dive. The instructor will stay by your side the whole time underwater so you can take in all of the underwater views without worry.

After the first dive, you’ve probably fallen and love and want to get dive certified. TamaDive offers open water courses as well! Over the course of a few days, you will go on four dives, take the PADI exam and have your diver’s card!

More experienced divers who already have their open water certification will be able to go up to 18 meters deep and have the opportunity to swim next to white-tip sharks! They also plans trips for advanced divers to Bat Island, a remote area filled with bull sharks.

Diving in Costa Rica means lots of tropical fish to swim amongst, as well as eagle rays, octopi, many different kinds of eels, turtles, and beautiful coral reefs. Depending on the time of year, you may even catch a glimpse of a whale or two!

The staff at TamaDive are passionate about their job and take care of your group from beginning to end. Owners Franko and Remo will guarantee you have the best day in the water as well as the safest.

Scuba diving may seem frightening at first, but with the TamaDive crew, you will have a once in a lifetime experience with every creature under the sea. You may even leave your trip with a new passion for the ocean!
