At CRSC our focus is on fun, safety, and seamanship. All of our instructors are certified in CPR and First Aid. Whether you’re looking to have an amazing experience on the water, improve your skills or learn a new one, we can help.

CRSC is located on Potrero Bay on the northwest coast of Costa Rica. This outstanding water sport venue is protected from swell and provides wide open reaches across blue tropical water. Our fleet of fun, fast, safe boats are perfect for a wide range of sailing experiences. Whether you’re a competitive racer or a novice who loves the idea of sailing, or somewhere in between, we’ve got the boat or the instructional class for you.

Owners Jeff Herrman and Justin McCarter are friends who first sailed to Costa Rica in 1994 from San Francisco, CA. Their goal is to share their love of the sport and the skills they’ve developed over 30 years of sailing.”
