A record number of Americans travelled to Costa Rica in 2016

The U.S. Department of Commerce just released its report on U.S. citizens traveling to international destinations and Central America saw an almost 10% increase in the number of Americans traveling abroad compared to 2015. The most popular month for Americans to travel to Central America is in July with over 320,000 visits. Wal-Mart coming to Liberia

Good news for shoppers in the Guanacaste region looking to save money. Wal-Mart announced it will be opening a store in Liberia soon. According to Wal-Mart this will be the biggest supermarket in the area. KFC also plans to open a new restaurant in Liberia as well. The new Wal-Mart will employ over 90 full time employees. This will be the 10th establishment of this type in the country by Wal-Mart.
