Costa Rica uses more chemicals on crops than any other country in the world.

A recent study by the National University shows that Costa Rica uses more chemical pesticides per agricultural acre than any nation in the world, beating out both China and the U.S. Costa Rica uses 18.2 KG of agrochemicals per hectare of cultivated land. China uses 18 KG per hectare, and the U.S. uses only 2.5 KG per hectare. Discovery Costa Rica, $1 billion ecotourism park, set to open in 2020

Discovery Communications Inc. is licensing its name for a $1 billion ecotourism park to be named Discovery Costa Rica. The new ecotourism park, called Discovery Costa Rica, will open in late 2020. United flight makes emergency landing at Liberia, Costa Rica airport after losing engine

Air France launches new direct flight from Paris (Charles de Gaulle) to Costa Rica

Starting October 20, 2017, Air France will be offering an additional flight to San José (Costa Rica), increasing its weekly flight frequency from 2 to 3 on departures from Paris-Charles de Gaulle.
